I am 25 yrs old. I have been in the army for 6 yrs and just got out. I have gotten 2 dwi's in the past few years and I am on probation for it in Tx. I have violated my probation with possession of weed. So now I'm waiting for my warrant to be issued so I can turn myself in. how long do you think they will give me? I was originally given 18 months of probation and I violated it with like 4 months left in my time. How long do you think I will get?

Well first you are likely to spend a few weeks to a month just waiting for a hearing on the violation of probation.

Also they don't look at how much you already did on probation or even care how much you had left, obviously it was not working will be their view point, They can put you in prison for the max probation time you had, the 18 months, plus you will still face the charges for the possession.

My guess (and it is only a guess) will be a few months in county jail, and they will give you the max probation for the new crime, to keep you on drug testing
