I own a gpd1004 sn-0104625001. I have had 2 hvac companies checking my gas furnace.
Neither could find out the problem..
My furnace was bought new in 2001 9yrs. Old.
The problem is, it will try to turn on, igniter will come on , inducer will come on, but no gas will come out. Then it shuts down after 3 tries. Sometimes it comes on and works like it should but we never know when that is going to happen. Then it doesn't work on the next try, sometimes when it is working you can hear the burners shut down but the fan still is running and then the burners will kick back on. I have replaced the board, igniter, flame sensor, limit switch inside the unit, and pressure switch... I have spent a little over $700.00 to the techs just for labor. What else can I do. I am in Illinois and the weather is cold
