I've heard how people move out in their 20's, sometimes at 18, but I'm in my 30's now.

How do I start moving out when they get angry if I say I want to move out and my father is still violent and will start throwing stuff if I tell him any of my ideas.

Where are you going to move out to?

Can you support yourself?

Do you know how to cook, clean house, do laundry?

Does your father have a good reason to emote?

Cozo, After reviewing the questions you have posed here on AMHD, I'm sure your parents are acting in your best interests.

It seems that you, and I mean this in no ill will, are not socially able to live independently.

I have to agree with the above.

After reading your other posts, I don't think you're capable of living on your own.

Your parents are worried, and with good reason. I don't think they're trying to be mean, they're just trying to protect a son that they know isn't capable of big decisions, or taking care of himself.

We've asked on your other threads, without ever getting an answer. I will get to the point. Have you ever been tested for Aspergers or Autism?

Your age is not so important as your ability to take care of yourself.
