what is a CONCENTRIC 6X5 WELDED BLACK PIPE SCH 40 REDUCER I saw advertised? Is it useable for a wood stove chimney to articulate a 6" pipe to a 5" one? I don't know what is meant by a concentric pipe either. Can you help me?

HarborMo, a "concentric pipe" just means it's a circular or round pipe. Here's a site that you can "chat" with a rep about this product. Good luck
