Hi, I have dyed my hair black for about two months but I am ready to go back to my natural brown color, I have not dyed it for over a month so my roots are getting very big and there is a lot of brown coming out in my hair. I can't wait to grow it out it takes to long, but I also don't want to damage my hair with bleach. I was told that if you put a little bit a baking soda in with your shampoo it would take out the black, but I have never used it before. Or one of the color zap formals by Loreal. Has anyone used these or recommend something? I am desperate! THANKS

Baking soda will not remove permanent hair color. If bleaching your hair is not an option for you, try using a hair color removal product. Since black hair dye is the hardest to remove, you may need to use more than one application of the hair color remover to get the color out.
