I signed a rental agreement on Feb. 27, 2007 for 6 months. After this time the tenancy agreement was renewed from month to month. From a rented house I moved out December 26. I wanted to make an appointment to do an inspection but my landlord told me to just leave the keys on Dec. 26 and said that he will do an inspection yourself. I was also scared that if they do not leave keys in the day, I'll have to pay for another month. So I took pictures at home and left my keys. Since then, attempts to contact the landlord and arrange to do an inspection, but I still hear the denial. I learned also during a telephone conversation with the landlord that there is a lot of sales in the damaged, for which he will have to deduct money from your deposit. I wanted to indicate that the house was left in perfect condition (painted walls, carpets washed, cleaned windows, furniture and equipment not destroyed). I think my landlord just wants to cheat me. What can I do in this situation?

What can I do in this situation?Hello m:

Sue him in small claims court. It's quick, cheap and easy.

So has he cheated you, you ca't do anything until they refuse to give the deposit, and gives you a list of what the damages where.

If he has not given you the deposit, write a letter stating that photos were taken, and perhaps you had a independent other person look at it also?? And that you are providing a address for your full deposit
