There is a pre-fabricated building on the foundations above the ground (one meter high). The inside temperature always should be kept at 20 C. The outside temperature is -20 C. I have the thicknesses and the R-values for roof, walls, door and floor. What is the heat transfer equation to find out the room temperature after 8 or 12 hours when the heaters are off? Is there any graph or software that can calculate the temperature?
The bottom line is that I need a document that demonstrates the inside temp of building after 8 or 12 hours when we have no electricity for heating system.
