Please excuse my complete and total lack of ignorance, but I am a first time homeowner and have no idea what I am doing. My husband and I purchased a new vanity, sink and faucet for our 1/2 bath. The vanity and sink are in place and my husband installed the faucet. However, now the drain pipe and the existing pipe (one coming out of the wall) are kind of not aligning. The curvy pipe that was with the original sink/faucet, is too short. What kind of pipe should we get. The guy at home depot had us buy this white plastic accordion thing. That just doesn't seem right. Shouldn't a larger curvy pipe work? Also, can you have multiple curvy pipes or does that start to impact the flow of the water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
