Hi Phefer...

Did you jet the main line? If so, why jet it? Why not use a sewer snake cable machine here?

Here, we usually reserve the jet cleaning for greasy drain lines or drain lines that will be relined with epoxy drain materials...

Let us know what was snaked, why it was snaked and the previous history over the years and we will see what we can think of, OK?

Hey mark, thanks for replying! Here's the history. A couple of months ago during a shower in the master shower it was slow to drain the guest shower main drain & shower drain clogged. The toilet didn't flush & clean out cap inside the house was backing up. Plumber recommended snake the line, clogged cleared, toilet flushed. A month later, same but guest shower didn't clog, just backed up black stuff & clean out cap again backing up. Plumber says jetting will fix it, better than the snake. So they jet it, the clean out inside the house & the clean out outside the house (2 of them) all the way to the septic tank. 2 weeks later master shower slow to drain, guest main drain & shower drain back up & clean out backing up again. So now they recommend a camera line.

Hey mark, thanks for replying! I had it snaked first from the clean out inside the house to the main. But same result. So plumber says jet it, so they jet it all the way to the septic tank. Same result 2 weeks later. Now they want to video camera it

The camera sounds like the next logical step to me at this point.

With that being said, I probably would have camered the drain lline BEFORE jetting it, but that's me, right?

Make sure you are present for the entire camera job and request a VHS tape or DVD for future use. Most likely they'll find a broken or separated pipe.

Let me know the result, OK?

Thanks...
