I am 21 years old and I just met my dad 7 months ago. I got a call this morning from my step mother saying that they just took my dad to jail for non support. He hasn't paid for years, but my mother said she didn't want any money back she just wanted my dad in my life and I just want my dad I don't want the money either. Tomarrow is christmas eve and I want my dad back before then this is suppose to be our first christmas together. What can I do to make this all stop and to make sure this stops happening to my dad?

You as the child ( adult child) can't you are actually not an active part of the legal proceedings.
Your mom filed for child support years ago it would appear, so there was a order from when you were a child for him to pay.
Your dad refused to pay the money when it was ordered and never made arrangements for payment. At this point you can perhaps pay the bail to get him out of jail, till he has a court hearing.
Next you don't get the money, even if and when he has to pay, your mom gets the money not you.

I am aware I do not get the money but my mother doesn't want it either. She wants this all to end as well. Is it possible to make all this go away and he won't have to pay any money at all?

She could request that the arrears be placed at $0. However, if she received any type of state aid, odds are the judge won't allow it.
