I have an older goodman 10 sier 3.5 ton package unit-straight cool. The serial /model number has been torn off and you can't read it. I was told it's a late 90's model 1997 or 1998 close. It has a 15 kw heat strip and we have had some issues with the wiring, we get told it can be diagnosed but could cost us a couple hours just to figure out what the exact model is. I have been unemployed for 3 months and will be starting a new job soon but haven't had a income. Christmas is going to be non exsistant and now we have heating problems again. I need to get a wiring diagraphm and for this unit then I can do some of the diagnostics and if I have too,I can tell someone what exactly I have before they come out so to try to save some money.

Help me please!!

A service tech. should be able to fix your problem the first hour. You trying to get your system ready for them to fix it could cost you more. If you mix and match just a few wires it takes time to sort them out. Your older system is just a simple heat sequencer heat strip kit but it takes a few parts to make it work-- Limit fuse, heat-string,sequencer,realay,thermostat and voltage fuses, electricity. All have to work to get heat. If you don't know electricity at all you can get hurt bad working with aux. heat.

I do know something about electricity. The problem is I need to know the proper wiring and the sequence they need to fall into to make it propery work.

Thanks
