I served a 1 year prison sentence in '92, and 5 years of probation. I was also ordered to pay a lot of restitution, but haven't been able to keep up with it because I can't. Is there anyway I can get restitution expunged, since I've basically paid my debt per say?

Hello A:
No, there's a debt still owing... But, if you're OFF probation, they can't do anything about it anymore... I don't know why you're still paying.

No you have not paid your "debt" you served your punishment.
You caused another person harm and loss, and they need to be paid back for their loss.

You still owe this debt and no it cannot be "expunged" as the Judge who ordered this restitution would be the one who would be doing the expunging and that is not about to happen. He just didn't waste his time signing an Order for you to pay and then miraculously erased. Not in this lifetime. Sorry.
