I've read the answers about how to uninstall the Yahoo messenger. I do not have a "command key" on this keyboard, since I purchased the system used, and it's pretty much pieced together. Since using Apple, I feel dumb (tho computer savvy since '91)... Am sourly regretting installing Yahoo messenger (They've lowered their standards and now there is what amounts to spam users that I never accepted). I miss my IBM windows. Uninstall is so easy on that system. You can in essence FLUSH the application from your system. Apple users swear by their system, but I've had nothing but frustration... Any other help would be very appreciated.

What version Apple OS are you running as it differs! The following is a overview of how you could uninstall but your OS might be a little different.
1. Make sure the Mac computer is on, and close all programs. Locate your hard drive icon on the desktop. By default it's called Macintosh HD (it might be different)
2. Click on the "Applications" folder once you're viewing the contents of the Mac's hard drive. The Applications folder holds all programs that have been installed on the machine.
3. Scan the list of available applications to find the one(s) you seek to uninstall. There are two ways to uninstall the program once you've located it. One option is clicking while holding the Ctrl key once to select the file, a small menu will pop up. Select "Move to Trash". A second option is to locate the file in the Applications folder, select it, and drag it to the Trash on the desktop.
4. Ensure that you've removed all files associated with the program, in case they all weren't located in the Applications folder.
I almost forgot. If you used an installer for Yahoo messenger, try rerunning that as usually there is an uninstaller built in! :D
Good Luck!
Ps. We use IBMs/Lenovo's at work and I love them!
