My kitchen sprayer type faucet is leaking - a perpetual drip - but it seems to be just the hot water line contributing to it. The leak is a continual drip at the screen on the sprayer nozzle and occasionally around the base of the faucet where it goes into counter top. Again only the hot water line seems to be the culprit. Help?

Is that Single column faucet or 2 handle with separate sprayer ? Do you have Brand and Model number ?

Hi Orman...

Sounds like you have a single handle pull-out spray faucet similar to the picture below, right?

If so, then the hot water side has gotten some sediment in it that is causing the drip OR the washer/oring or even the entire cartridge will need to be replaced... ;)

Here, shut off the water supply to the faucet and remove the handle to access the washers or cartridge assembly. Pull the washers or the cartridge assembly and clean all parts. Examine everything and replace any defective or questionable parts.

Reassemble and check to see if things are improved. If not, purchase a complete cartridge assembly replacement for your faucet, install it and that should have you up and running drip free real quick off.

To tell you any more, as Milo said, we need to know the model or at least the brand, etc. OK?

Questions? Just let us know.
