Hi - I've built a dry-lined wall & ceiling in a room conversion - now the plasterer tells me the plasterboard is hung the wrong way around (Dark paper side out) & that the plaster will not stick & they need to be reversed - This will mean quite a lot of re-work & cost. - Is he correct ?

Why would you doubt this guy's advice? Yes, dark side out. Otherwise the finishing plaster won't stick properly.
