My electric Rheem furnace fails to come on from time to time when thermostat calls for heat. If I trip and rest breakers on furnace, the furnace will operate normally for some time ( It will shut off and come back on per thermostat settings) but (Usually, in the evening) it will fail to come back on no matter how cold the room gets. I have replaced thermostat and that made no difference.

I have been having the same problem with my furnace and I have call them twice and even got a contract service plan for the tech to come out and fix it twice, had a new themostat replace to more diff. things on my furnace I can't even pronounce and after about a 1,ooo bucks, 5 yrs. Later it is doing the same thing, if you get someone to look at it please be sure they can tell you are show you people furnaces they have fixed that have the same problem or they are not going to know what they are doing. Mine cut on but it always blows cold air unless I turn the thermostat up to about 72, I will not get heat no matter how cold it gets. And sometime the pilots goes out and I have to go into the basement and light it and it take a while, I don't trust anyone to come and fix it so I deal with it, my neighbor say it the plank I have over it in the flr. I need to remove it because some house my furnace can't breath and is not kicking on, I have to try that, good luck.
