My period isn't usually more than 2 to 3 days late every since I took birth control pills to regulate my menstrual cycle. But I'm a week late, which has really never happened so I'm really worried. I had protective sex the 2th and unprotected sex the 12th which was also the day I was due to start my period. I was having cramps way before the 12th by they've stopped by now. Any info, suggestion, ideas? It's really not a good time for me to be pregnant. And also, I've been stressed out the whole week and before due to finals week. Which ended yesterday.

Of course no form of protection is 100 percent, so even without the unprotected sex, you could be, and of course with unprotected sex, I can only assume that you are wanting to become pregnant.

But then stress can be the cause also.

It is a known fact that stress can holt a forthcoming period and also worrying about it will not help either. I would book an appointment with your doctor who will be able to do a blood test if necessary and I would consider that if you do not want to be pregnant maybe using contraception all the time to minimise the chances.
