It's still to early to leave them alone together. They need more supervised together time. I'd give it at least two weeks without incident.

This week we introduced a feral female we've been feeding and socializing. Our indoor cats raised their heads from their cozy beds, glared for a minute, and then went back to sleep. Our local cat shelter has 60 cage-free cats roaming around with no problem. Casual and careful "play dates" are your best bet for getting them acquainted. The little one will grow fast and catch up in size.
