I worked for an ambulance district and the paramedic and myself went to the emergency room so I could get a prescription. I no longer work for them and made a complaint to the EEOC, the paramedic wrote a statement to the EEOC stating, I am taking this prescription and which doctor gave it to me. Is this a violation? She did it malicously to discredit me.

Violation of what? Did she tell the truth? Did she make the statement as part of the investigation into your complaint?

Is it a Hippa Violation for the ambulance service to make a statement about me taking a certain prescription and the doctor who gave it to me.

To whom did the EMT make the statement? Was it negative?

If you made a complaint to the EEOC and the medic was asked these questions due to an ongiong investigation, then no there was no HIPAA violation.
