Hi,

My dishwasher (Kenmore model - 665.13749K601, maybe three years old) started acting up recently. Of all the cycles, Smart Wash was the only one which would work. Yesterday, it completely went dead, as if it had no power. After some troubleshooting which included resetting through control panel, unplugging the ribbon cable from the control module, the problem still persists. I can operate everything on the control panel except the Cycles buttons - none of them works.

I am not sure if the problem is with the door latching mechanism (it seems to be engaging), or control panel or control module. Is there a way to verify the control panel and control module and isolate the problem. Also, is there a parts dealer who charges reasonable prices for these parts?

I would appreciate any hints or advice on diagnosing the problem. Domestic peace is at stake, please help!
