I'm 17 on I'm on the depo shot.. . me and my boyfriend had been having sex, and I have been having pregnancy symptoms . I started bleeding 2 months after the shot. Then my lower back started hurting and I have been feeling weak and tired.. but I really don't think its my period.. I took many pregnancy test and they came back negative . But I think that's because I'm on the shot.. and the blood is heavy and clotting.. its like a nosie bleed kind of smell.. help

Go to a doctor, asap, to check out what is going on. When you are pregnant, your body produces hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) which is made by your body. That is, what the pregnancy test detects. If it comes up negative, you should not be pregnant, but, those tests are not 100% certain. Sometimes birth control can cause the symptoms you describe, and that method might not be for you. You need to give your gynecologist a call and have it checked.

It is very likely what you are experiencing is due to the depo. Irregular bleeding, weakness, and even back ache can be from the shot.
The depo itself will not effect the outcome of a pregnancy test, but as twinmom suggested, see your doctor for the peace of mind.
