Write an inequality to describe this situation.
A student pays for three movie tickets with a twenty-dollar bill
and gets change back. Let t be the cost of a movie ticket.
1 How many movie tickets did the student buy?
2 How did the student paay for the movie tickets?
3 What does the variable t represent?
4 write an expression to represent the cost of three movie tickets
5 what information tells you that the three movie tickets cost less than twenty dollars?
6 write the inequality using the express from step 4
7 how would the problem read differently if the three tickets cost more than twenty dollars?
8. write an inequality for this situation katrina bought four greeting cards she gave the clerk a five dollar bill plus some change to pay for the cards let g be the cost of a greeting card
