Louisiana resident. Divorced 4 yrs ago, after empty promises, and ignorant benevolence, have attempted to serve papers regarding property settlement to ex-wife who lives out of state, but her mother, 3 brothers, sister, and who know how many animals have been living in house for last two years. I am primary owner, put her on deed 5 years prior to marriage to help her credit. Looks like possible curator route, but wondering if can at least boot the unauthorized,( in MY opinion), occupants of my house, valued at over $200K. Suggestions? Have researched "Trespassing" and "Lodgers", but?

What state is the property ?

But as long as the wife ( ex wife ) is still on the deed, they can still live there as along as she will allow them to. Since she is a co owner.

Did the court not award * give or order the home** to be given to one party or the other ?

If this has not happened, you ( assuming you were to get ownership of home) need to take her back to court to get ownship cleared up first

They are not trespassers nor lodgers, they have established residency and need to be treated as tenants. That means the landlords (i.e the OWNERS of the property) need to evict them. ALL owners need to agree to do this.

To help further, you need to explain how the property was dealt with in the divorce.
