Could someone tell of good software to backup your hard drive to cd's. I've used Nero burn, but it copies all the sectors even if your drive is 3/4 empty. Is there one that just copies the amount of info you have on your drive? Thanks Vinny

I recommend "Partition Saving" (http://perso.club-internet.fr/guiboure/en/). It has an option to only save occupied sectors of your hard drive, and can compressed the backup files as well.
It runs in dos, so you probably won't be able to burn directly to CD unless your burner has dos drivers... but you can have it split the files to 700MB and then burn them to CDs in windows.
Be sure to read the manual... the GUI is pretty simple but if you don't have a dos mouse driver some of the keyboard commands can be hard to figure out on your own (or maybe it's just me :))
Hope this helps,
