I am in the process of renovating my bathroom and am looking a wall hung toilet systems... My home has all solid walls and I wondered if the toilet could be secured without the frame system.. The walls are made from very solid engineering bricks..

Possibly but doubtful since the toilet is held in a carrier. Where do you intend to run the waste line if you have solid walls? I'd stick with the existing setup considering the fact that you already have a drain and supply system in place.

Yeah, you could probably make up a hanger system for a wall hung toilet if you wanted, too, but you better be pretty darn handy or I wouldn't even attempt it... ;)
That being said, with solid walls the only real option is probably going to be to build a stud wall in front of the solid wall and then install a home made hanger system or install the carrier as per manufacturer instructions.
I would recommend the carrier... in the end this gives the best and longest lasting/trouble free job.
