I'm 6 months pregnant and I'm already getting contractions is that normal? My due date isn't intill April

I would see your doctor immediately. It is not normal, but it is also not rare. It does happen, but please see your doctor.

Its impossible to tell on line if you experiencing true labour contractions.

The advice above is the best.

Don't take any risks,contact your local hospital asap.

It can depend on how frequently you are feeling them. Some women will feel occasional contractions by 6 months. Your uterus contracts much of the way through pregnancy but often it is not felt until closer to the end.
Contractions that come and go, are infrequent, fairly mild are braxton hicks contractions... think of them as the uterus practicing.

If, however, they are frequent (you are getting several in an hour), continue if you change your activity, (getting plenty to drink will often cause them to subside if they are braxton hicks), give your doctor or midwife a call.
