Hi, me and my wife recently got married, she's a non-resident alien, that has a social security card. Will I be able to claim her while filing for my taxes?

Are you a citizen, green card holder or resident alien?

If no, what is your home country?

Then the best way for you to file is to file jointly with her (her physical location is irrelevent).

That allows you to get taxed at the lowest tax rates, gives you a joint standard deduction that is TWICE what you get by yourself, and TWO personal exemptions.

The only drawback is that you must include all of her world-wide income, but that can be mitigated by either the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (Form 2555) or the Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1116).
