My daughter has a stable job and is going to transfer so that she can live with me (her mother and stepdad) so that she can better take care of my grandson and work on going back to school. She and his dad never got married and neither has custody even though my daughter has physical custody at this time. What can she do to get expedited custody to keep the father from taking my grandson to Florida.

First question is he on the birth certificate? Second question, has there been ANY court orders establishing custody, child support, visitation etc. Third question has the father been an active part of the child's life?
