I have a Rumor 2, have had it for quite a while. A couple days ago all my texts started coming in with a voice message saying who it was as if I was blind and only had hearing to go on. The ringtones were no longer in effect, not for the phone calls either, did the same thing and an automated voice would tell me if a call came in.

Does anyone know how to switch this feature on and off? I've been going through the settings and all that over and over again.

I had an LG... It did that too.. it was in the ringtone setting somewhere.. something about "vocals" or something... I can't quite remember cause I don't have the phone anymore... But you should be able to find it in the ringtones settings... if you have dropped your phone a lot or it is kind of old and has a lot of wear and tear, sometimes they just start making up their own minds about what they want to do.. maybe it's just time to get a new phone...
