I have only had this twice and it was spaced apart not right after each other

It is normal to have discharge in early pregnancy that can vary in appearance. It has to do with hormonal changes and the development of the mucus plug. Usually discharge would be a concern if it were accompanied by itching, b and/or a foul odor. This could be an indication of an infection. Any bleeding, especially if accompanied by cramping, should also be brought to a doctor's or midwife's attention.

When in doubt, give your doctor or midwife a call and let them know about any changes. If it is something they would want to check, they will have you come in. If they are not concerned, it will give you some peace of mind.
