I had the same problem; no hot water from the shower but hot water everywhere else. After trying everything else suggested, I took the shower head off and soaked it in CLR for a couple of hours, reinstalled it, and now have plenty of hot water from the shower. Lime had blocked the hot water. This will solve both lack of hot or cold water and water pressure problems. You can get a jug of CLR at Home Depot or Lowe's. Good Luck with this and hope it solves your problem.

We thank you for the update hross, but now I wonder how a shower head can pass cold water and not hot. Any explanation? Cheers, Tom

HI Hross...
For future readers, soaking the shower head in CLR may clear the shower head, but it will NOT restore hot or cold water as the shower head has nothing to do with the cold or hot water supply... just the delivery of the mixed water... ;)
Here, about the only way hot water could be restored by soaking the head is if the shower head was so clogged with minerals to begin with that it didn't allow hot water to get to the shower... but that would mean the shower head was trickling to begin with.
CLR is great at dissolving mineral deposits and is usually used to soak the tub/shower valve CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY to restore full flow to a tub/shower... just FYI.
