Hi there , my mum has just moved house and wishes to use her existing washing machine , however in the new house there is only one water supply tap for the washing machine but my mums washing machine has both hot and cold water valves . What do I do in this instance .

Which water does the valve in house supply?

If hot, u can cap the cold on washer and use just the one from house. This is not a good idea because u will not be able to wash delicate things that need warm water.

If u have a sink near by, u can get an adapter for the sink faucet and use that for washer.

The correct fix is to run the other water line that u need.
