Yeah I have the exact problem as you, I'm using this "superfade original" cream... it works slowly, testimonials and reviews have said that it does work so that's what I'm using now... there are more products out there as well, by the way your method is also correct, but it may be slow, idono you might want to go ask a doctor:)

If you want a natural and healthy way to whiten your skin without harsh chemicals or synthesized products try any kind of papaya soap or lotion. I recommend likas papaya lotion, its slightly hard to find though. Very cheap about 3 dollars a bar, you can find it at any asian/pacific vendor (ie 99 ranch, or any smaller filipino-based stores should have it). Papaya is natural and it really evens out your complexion, whitens the skin, and leaves it feeling clean and healthy. With frequent use, after about 3-4 weeks use you can see and feel the difference. This method has been used for many years but not many people know about it.

You can use the kojic acid soaps... either papaya or licorice... (orange , green or black... ) I like black... no fragrance... if you can't find it... eBay has them... not as cheap as if you live in an area with a high philipino population... cause the soaps are from the Philippines... but nonetheless... eBay... search under... kojic soap... or skin bleach... or skin lightening...

I was born fair and with dark grey-blue eyes maybe because I am mixed, my mom says I was the color of her palms when born but color came in fast, so I am naturally Type IV skin because of heavy African genes (Sierra Leon I guess) in the mix. Maybe brown is your natural color. If so then olive oil, cucumbers. Lime won't make you fair just because you were fair at birth. My eyes turned black after a few months and that is normal in my family.
