Hi I am 20 years old. I have a three year old son so it has been a while since I have been pregnant. I have been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms but I have taken three test and all negative. I have not had my period in 2 1/2months, I have been having sore breast to the point were I can't touch them. I also been having very bad abdominal pain it just feel like pressure that's it no sickness, or urge to urinate often. Somewhat of nausea but no vomiting. Like I said I have taken three test but all negative. I just need to get an opinion before I go to the doc, I won't be able to go until 2 weeks but I need answers now. Thanks.

It's possible you are pregnant... are your periods normally quite regular? For some women a urine test doesn't pick up a pregnancy for some time.

Best to treat yourself as though you might be pregnant until you know for sure. Take a prenatal or multivitamin, watch what you eat and drink, etc.. The only way to know would be to have it confirmed or ruled out. You will likely have another urine test in office, and also a blood test if necessary.

In the past I have had issues with irregular periods but for the last 4 or 5 months my period has been not been more than a month late. Even if it is being irregular, It still does not explain the abdominal pain and my tender nipples right ?

Maybe your period is getting ready to start. Breast tenderness can be due to the premenstrual hormonal changes as well. Bad stomach pains is not really a sign of pregnancy, although some women will feel cramping as though their period is about to start any day.

When you see the doctor, they will possibly do a scan to check for pregnancy, but also other possible causes for the pain, such as an ovarian cyst.

You could try another home test, making sure you follow the directions exactly, but if still negative you'll have to just wait until you are able to get into see your doctor to determine what is going on.
