Hi I'm stumped on what to do I have an Integra DC2 1993 1800cc vtec dohc engine code b18c
I had a crash in it about 6 months ago and since then it had been sat being build back up out side my house
Prior to this crash it had a problem rev surging whenever I held it at the bite point or was at a cruising speed revs would raise and lower all the time but at full throttle it was fine?
Now I have repaired the car its ready to be driven again but I started it two days ago it started fine reved up cleanly sounded happy, then for no reason the revs slowly died off and it switched off??
I firstly check the whole fuel system and changed fuel filter its all fine
Then timing belt which was fine
Finally I discovered no spark
I checked coil and ignition module nothing wrong with them I have a civic and they both worked perfect with that
I'm pretty sure I check all my fuses/relays under the bonnet and under my dashboard
I'm now going to try and search out a bad earth of any kind and clean it
Oh by the way there is no EML (engine management light- blinker)
No earth problem I have had a similar problem with a previous civic turned out to be a distributor I needed crank signal problem but that used to start every now and then and it would run for a bit then cut out this integra just won't start full stop
