cot s= -1/3, s in quadrant 4

cos s= square root of 5/5, tan s < 0

tan x csc x/ sec x

sec theta+ tan theta

cot s (tan s + sin s)

sin squared alpha + tan squared alpha + cos squared alpha= sec squared alpha

cot s + tan s= sec s csc s

Um... I do hope you understand that this site is not a homework service, and hence, why don't you post the things you tried out to solve those? :)

1. Remember that \cot A = \frac{1}{\tan A}

2. Where is cos positive and tan negative?

3. Convert everything to the basic ratios, that is sine and cosine.

4. Same thing as 3

5. Same thing as 3, then expand the brackets.

6. Same thing as 3, then combine the fractions.

7. Same thing as 6. Ultimately, convert into sec and cosec.
