I had an ultrasound and was told they could not find anything and was scheduled for a d&c. I'm about 10wks, but have had no cramps or bleeding except spotting after intercourse. What should I do??

Sadly sometimes a pregnancy stops progressing early on and it doesn't always result in a miscarriage. In that situation medical assistance is required.

If you are concerned that they may have been mistaken, you can always ask for another scan before you have the d & c. Talk to your doctor about any concerns that you may have so that if the surgery is done, you will feel assured that it was necessary.
