I recently bought a house with no thermostat only 4 wires coming out of the wall.
I bought a thermostat for it but the markings on it don't match the ones on the
Furnace. The thermostat markings say y1,w/b,y/o, rh, rc, and g. I opened the
Furnace and there are 7 wires going into a box which I assume is the circuit
Board. They are marked as: blue wire mv, red mv, yellow tr, green gnd, orange
Pv brown th and a white cloth like wired labeled sense, My question is can these
Two sets of markings be cross referenced with each other? Otherwise I have no
Way of telling which wire goes where.
