Hello, I am trying to find the name of a show or song that rings loud in my mind, at least part of it anyway. When I was a child in Chicago, born in the early 1950's, I remember hearing this tune. I think it was off the TV set, not radio. The lyrics "Oh my little fish, my little fish I'm here". This was repeated over and over and after that I can not remember any more. There was not much on the TV back then and our TV looked more like a oscilloscope than anything (showing my age now). We also listened to my grandmothers radio downstairs a good deal of time. I remember singing along while sitting in front of the TV set. Hope you can help me. Thanks Tom

Hi- I was trying to find the same thing (ALMOST) I too grew up in Chicago area, circa late 50's early 60s... I seem to recall it was "Oh my little fish, my little fish have come"... Im not sure if Im mixing this up with someone else but it seems I recall it was said by a guy who was like a prince or something and at one point enters the water and calls out the name "Esmerelda" Even though it was a cartoon-it wasn't cutesy (Disney or Loony Toons) it was much more realistically drawn

I found some references to the an animated show that sounds like what you're talking about on some other sites, I'm wondering if this is what you're looking for... only problem I could only find it in Russian! It's possible it was dubbed in english... I noticed the lovely animation like you mentioned, the beginning of the first show has some sort of opening that goes for like 3 min. the fisherman story starts at about 3min30sec... hope this is what you're looking for!
