We recently purchased another building for our business. There is a keyless entry lock on the shop door. How can we change the code so we can use this area. There is no maker of the door lock or any information on the exterior or behind the battery cover. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck

Since models vary by maker, there is no set answer. If you can get to the hinges, pull the pins, remove the door and install a new lock. Can you get over a suspended ceiling? Climb over and remove the door and replace the lock. Mfgrs. Are hesitant to give you change instructions since they don't know you are not trying to gain acces for theft.

If you provide a picture, I bet I could Identify it and provide instructions.
Is it wireless? Multicode 4200?
The multicode sticker can wear off:

I got the impression it was a pedestrian door not an overhead. The problem with most of the electronic door locks is that people change the factory setting and then you can't go back. Brian
