Im 21 weeks pregnant and have been going to a family nightclub/dance party almost every fortnight. The music is very enjoyable for me and not stressful, I actually go there for stress relief in relation to all the stress going on in my personal life at the moment. The club also has very tight security and rarely are there fights there and its also non-smoking. I don't drink nor do I smoke I usuallly sit in a corner and enjoy the beats while my friends enjoy dancing. Iam wondering if the music would be harming my developing baby and its ears in anyway?

No, I don't think the loud music will do any damage to the fetus' ears.

The music will not do any damage as the baby is secure inside the womb but the thumping vibrations may cause damage. Nothing serious but it may cause labour before the due date and it could make you feel unwell in the later weeks of pregnancy

I can't see how the thumping vibrations can do any harm. Horse back riding until quite well into my pregnancy years ago, didn't do any damage to my son. And it wasn't just a slow walk, it was a brisk canter !

I guess you might say it gives a whole new meaning to roller coaster rides, trampoline play and/or pin the tail on the donkey !

No its great excersize but I have read somewhere that loud music may cause the baby to tense up in the womb, just a reaction. The reaction carries on when they come out of the womb so anything loud can cause your baby to tense up after the baby is born, just something to be aware of. Other than that your baby will come out a party baby ready to dance lol
