I recently replaced the original GE model #3AHT10B1A2 thermostat and a Honeywell fan limit switch on my 1960's GE model #21LU100A2A furnace and lit the pilot light in anticipation of the recent cold weather. The pilot light works, but when setting the thermostat to heat, nothing happens and the burners are not firing up as it did just last winter. I probably need to replace the whole furnace, but a recent layoff has made that impossible for right now and I just want to get the old thing working. Is it not receiving a signal from the thermostat to ignite? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
