My home is 2 years old and my sewage ejection pump is burn out. I have had to have it cleaned three times sine I purchased the home in December of 08'. The plumber that came and look has found that both my pump and my electrical outlet in my basement/ crawlspace has gone bad and I need to replace both. I live in the mountains and have approx. 18-20 feet vertical lift to the street, and approx 30' travel distance. This is a two full bath house and the entire house does run off this system. Any ides I am looking for effective, low maintenance and reasonably priced. Thanks in advance.

Only pump to get in my opinion is the ZOELLER M267 2" DISCHARGE SEWAGE EJECTOR. Double check the specs. but this pump should handle the vertical lift without issue... ;) The ejector has an integral float that doesn't require a separate electrical cord and is low maintenance.

I've been installing these for over 30 years and have never had any issues arise... except for that time I lowered that heavy duty pump into the pit by its electrical cord (or someone else did)! UGH! The pump didn't last two weeks and my boss new exactly what I did... showed me... and should have made me pay for it, but he didn't! Lucky me!~

Anyway, around here, zoeller is the answer for sewage ejectors.

PS: If you install this pump be sure that the plumber drills the 5/32" (I think) hole in the discharge pipe (in the pit) to relieve any kind of AIR LOCK that can happen without the hole.

I agree, Zoeller is the army tank of the pumps.
