So OK, I'm 30 weeks pregnant going on 31 this wed, and just suddenly my ARMS started falling asleep at night, no matter which way I sleep... It's excrusiatingly painful and I have no Idea what to do about it. Do any of you Pregnant Wonders have any advice for me? Oh and my hands are swelling too, but I know that that's normal, at this time, but goodness can we ever get a break? Now I have one more question, Do 1st time mother's usually deliver after there due date or before? Ok ladies let me know if you can help PLEASE! Thanks so much..

No one can tell you when you will deliver I had our little girl at 32 weeks for no reason!
As for the whole arm going to sleep thing its probably just baby laying funny on your spine it used to make my hands tingle something chronic.
Make sure you lay on your left and if you can support your bump with a pillow.
But please if your hands swell too much call your dr.

Hey hey, well, I am on baby #2 and am about 22-23 weeks along. I can tell you what other people have told me. From what I hear, its more common for first time moms to be late, rather then early. Someone told me that it is because the muscles get more and more relaxed with each birth? I don't know how true that is, so don't quote me. I can tell you that I was a week late with my son, and they had to induce me. I am hoping that this one will come on his own, and be a little more early. As far as your arms going to sleep, I would guess that it has to do with the increased blood volume, and possitions you sleep in? Circulation issues. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. I always keep a gallon jug of water by my bed at night, because I wake up thirsty, and tend to have stomach cramps and stiffness if I don't stay hydrated enough. Sorry, I know that probably wasn't much help, but just letting you know you aren't alone out there. Hah. I have my arms go to sleep a lot too. I think its because I wake up with my arms above my head, or I am sleeping on my arm funny.
