I need to talk to someone who knows about smelling sulphur and what it really means. I've heard everything from demons to sewer problems. Its ridiculous to me that no one can provide an answer that relates to my situation. I smell it in the middle of the night, when I'm sitting in my office at work, etc. is this a medical issue? Is it really symbolic of something else?

Being in healthcare, I have heard of this before, usually related to kidney or bladder infections. Some people say their urine smells like sulphur. So in this sense it is a medical issue. Sulphur is a natural mineral, so it can't be all bad, and god knows how it ever became associated with 'fire and brimstone' brimstone being another name for sulphur probably from the middle ages. Gemologists like it for its bright yellow colour.

So, here we are with a medical issue. Do you ever suffer from bladder infections? Do you usually hold in your urine when you know you have to let it go because you haven't got a lot of time? It isn't adviseable to do this. There are no health benefits in holding in urine.
