My mother lived all 68 years of her life in her parents home. The last 10 years of her life her parents passed on and left power of attorney to one of the daughters. Now that my mother has passed on who has the right to this home?

Power of attorney ended at the death of the person who issued it, POA is only valid while they are alive to act and sign on their behalf.

Mother living there gives her no special rights,

1. was there a will, that decides where the property goes
2. if there is no will the home will go to the heirs, ( normally her children , all of them)

This would not be done with a POA after their death

Who inherits depends on the state, as well. In Pennsylvania, if a person dies intestate, the estate is divided up among the person's parents, siblings, spouse and children.

Didn't your grandparents have a will? From what you have told us we don't know who got title to the home when the grandparents passed. Your mom could have been th eowner, part owner or no interest all unles you tell us more>
