I changed the fuel pump in a 96 honda civic lx, has a 1.6 l vtech motor and now the fuel pump is not getting power. The main relay clicks on.

I've never seen a bad Honda fuel pump. Does the CEL come on for 2 seconds and then go out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II)?
