I recently had sex with a guy I have known for about 3 months. We used a condom before indulging in sexual intercourse. However, I am still paranoid that I could have contracted hiv from him. The condom did not burst or break and it was put on correctly and I did not come in contact with any of his body fluids. However, I am still paranoid. Also he says that he is sure of his status and that he is negative. However, I cannot take his word for it. He is going to do a test to prove this to me. Could some one please advise me as to why I am feeling this way?

no this is highly unlikely as the condom acts a barrier to prevent the transmission of her bodily fluids to come into contact with yours.The only way this is likely is if the condom broke and I am sure you would know if it broke.
