Oh this is going to sound weird, so here we go.

I am 24yo, when I was 20 I got a bump a little under the head of my penis. I know what all the STD's look like and this didn't look like any of them. It is UNDER the skin. It was kind of weird because it only appeared when I was erect. And even then I could get it to go away by putting pressure on it. It would just go away. Sometimes for months. Then if I masterbated too long or intense then it would come back. But like before I could put pressure on on and it would go away. Sometimes though it would come back the next time I masterbated but ussually if I just didn't masterbate for a while it would go away.

OK, now to describe this bump:

It is Under the skin, a little bigger than the head of a ball point pen, it is not painfull, it protrudes more if I am extremely erect, it appears to be kind of blueish clear. I'm assuming the blue is from blood in it. Which scares me because could it be cancer?

Anyway. I'm now 24, and it has never really bothered me and because it goes away its hard to go Show a doctor what it looks like. Sometimes I can't even find it or feel it.

Lately, the last 3weeks, it won't go away. I tried my old technique of putting pressure on it but it doesn't have the lasting effect it use to.

Can anyone give me advice??

Oh, and if I should go to a doctor, what kind of doctor should I go to?

Thanks!

You should go to a urologist.

I am sorry I don't know what this could be if not an STD, but I do know that you do need to see a professional about this and the best one to see would be a urologist.

Let me see you had this "bump" for 4 years and from your medical school training you know it is not a STD.

Sorry but it can be that or worst ( or of course nothing really) but you will not know unless you go to the doctor. Why men take such a risk with their health is beyong me. If waiting these years would lets say cause a problem in the future on even having an erection, may cause you some concern for not going to the doctor 4 years ago.

You need to go to the doctor
