I have downloaded super-anti spyware free edition and now I cannot open it. It just does nothing when I double click on it. I am having other problems as well. I can't get into Yahoo messenger, Google earth, etc. I am no techie. Please give me step by step directions on how to open it.

Where did you download it from? Did it install and you are trying to launch the program? Or are you still trying to install it?

Try renaming the .exe file to something like "doggie" and see if it runs. But only do this if you got it from the original website.

Also try getting HijackThis! And posting the log. http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/

It could be you have a virus/trojan/spyware that prevents known anti-virus/anit-spyware from running.

You need to be extremely careful when using downloaded anti malware programs there are a lot of ransom ware applications out there.
